Credentials
We have been doing this work since 2022. What is new is the packaging: taking capability built for agencies and energy majors and making it affordable for a business with fifty to five hundred staff. Here is the record it rests on.
Who is behind it
Bench Cyber came together during the pandemic, when a group of people who had spent their careers running security operations inside federal agencies and global energy companies decided to do it under one banner. Three decades of detection engineering, SIEM and SOAR deployment and managed threat response, in places where a missed alert is a national headline rather than an internal one.
Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet · Australian Taxation Office · Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade · Department of Parliamentary Services, Australian Parliament House · Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry · CSIRO · Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water · Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research
SIEM, SOAR and managed threat response inside central agencies, the parliamentary network and line departments, all operating under the ISM and the Essential Eight. The frameworks now turning up in your supplier contracts are ones we have been working to for years.
BP · Shell · ExxonMobil · Cenovus · Tesoro · Nova Scotia Power
Security operations across North American oil, gas and power. Environments combining corporate IT with operational technology, where the consequence of a detection failure is measured in more than data.
Delivered by Bench Cyber, with reference rights granted at the time. These were consulting engagements rather than managed SOC subscriptions, and we draw that distinction ourselves because it is the sort of thing worth being precise about.
Environments our platform operates in
What that actually means
Those are two different things and it is worth separating them, because plenty of firms blur the line deliberately.
The detection and response platform behind our SOC is deployed inside Commonwealth agencies, a major automotive manufacturer, universities and health services. Those are not our customers. They are the standard the platform is built to meet, and it is the same platform watching your network.
Sensors deployed, a baseline established for your environment, monitoring live. Three days, not the six to twelve months it takes to stand up the same thing internally.
Where sovereignty is a contractual or insurance requirement, we deliver onshore from Canberra with your data held in country.
We do not chase enterprise accounts and then squeeze the offering down. It is built for businesses your size from the start.
Every figure is published. No price on application, no discovery call required before you can find out whether you can afford us.
How we got here
Security operations people who had spent their careers inside federal agencies and global energy companies come together during the pandemic.
SIEM, SOAR and managed threat response across central agencies, the parliamentary network and line departments.
Detection work across North American oil, gas and power, where corporate IT meets operational technology.
The same capability, sized and priced for businesses with fifty to five hundred staff. Live in 72 hours.
What we work to
Logos. The platform behind our SOC has an impressive deployment history, but those organisations are customers of the people who built it, not of us. Borrowing them would look good and tell you nothing about the service you would actually receive.
Including who runs the SOC, where it operates, and what we can prove. We will answer all three.
